§10 — Application of other Directives

3. 昇降機又は昇降機用安全部品について、この指令にいうリスクの全部又は一部が特定の連合法令の対象となる場合には、この指令は、当該特定の連合法令の適用の時から、当該昇降機又は昇降機用安全部品及び当該リスクについては適用せず、又は適用を終止する。
Where, for lifts or safety components for lifts, the risks referred to in this Directive are wholly or partly covered by specific Union law, this Directive shall not apply or shall cease to apply in the case of such lifts or safety components for lifts and such risks as from the application of that specific Union law.

そのような個別の指令が対象とするリスクには適用されない。そのような個別の指令の対象とならないが昇降機指令の対象となるすべての要件については、昇降機指令に定める適合性評価手続が適用される。第17条第3項に関するコメントを参照のこと。
26 apply to the risks covered by such specific Directives. For all requirements not covered by such specific Directives but covered by the Lifts Directive, the conformity assessment procedures foreseen by the Lifts Directive are applicable – see comments on Article 17(3).
