安全部品 safety component
安全機能を果たすために設計された部品で、その故障や誤作動が人の安全を危険にさらすもの。単独で上市される場合は法令の対象になります。

「安全部品」とは、本規則の範囲に含まれる製品の物理的又はデジタルの構成部品（ソフトウェアを含む。）であって、安全機能を果たすように設計され又は意図され、単独で上市され、その故障又は誤作動が人の安全を危険にさらすが、当該製品が機能するためには必要でなく、又は当該製品が機能するために通常の構成部品で代替することができるものをいう。
‘safety component’ means a physical or digital component, including software, of a product within the scope of this Regulation, which is designed or intended to fulfil a safety function and which is independently placed on the market, the failure or malfunction of which endanger the safety of persons, but which is not necessary in order for that product to function or for which normal components may be substituted in order for that product to function;
「安全部品」とは、次の構成部品をいう。

「安全部品」とは、製品又はAIシステムの構成部品であって、当該製品若しくはAIシステムの安全機能を果たすもの、又はその故障若しくは誤作動が人の健康及び安全若しくは財産を危険にさらすものをいう。

「安全部品」とは、製品若しくはAIシステムの構成部品であって、当該製品若しくはAIシステムのために安全機能を果たすもの、又はその故障若しくは誤作動が人の健康及び安全若しくは財産を危険にさらすものをいう。この定義の適用上、構成部品は、その意図された目的が人の健康及び安全又は財産に対するリスクを防止し又は軽減することである場合に、安全機能を果たす。」
“safety component” means a component of a product or of an AI system which fulfils a safety function for that product or AI system, or the failure or malfunctioning of which endangers the health and safety of persons or property; for the purposes of this definition, a component fulfils a safety function where its intended purpose is to prevent or mitigate risks to health and safety of persons or property;’
機械規則では、単独で上市される安全部品（安全ライトカーテン、両手操作制御装置、安全PLCの論理ユニットなど。附属書IIに例示）を「関連製品」として機械と同じように扱います。機械規則では、ソフトウェアとして単独で提供される安全部品も対象になりました。
昇降機指令では、ドアロック装置、落下防止装置、調速機、緩衝器などの「昇降機用安全部品」（附属書III）が規制対象で、それぞれノーティファイドボディが関与する適合性評価が必要です。
