§216 — Ventilation

かごは、長時間停止した場合であっても、乗客のための十分な換気を確保するよう設計及び製造されなければならない。
4.7. Cars must be designed and constructed to ensure sufficient ventilation for passengers, even in the event of a prolonged stoppage.
4.7に定める要件は、昇降機の使用者の健康及び快適性、特に故障に続いて使用者が搬器内に閉じ込められた場合の健康及び快適性を確保することを目的としている。
The requirement set out in point 4.7 is intended to ensure the health and comfort of users of the lift, in particular, in cases where users are trapped in the carrier following to a breakdown.
搬器の換気に関する仕様は、要件を満たす手段の一つとして、EN 81-20:2020の5.4.9項に示されている。
Specifications for the ventilation of the lift carrier are given in clause 5.4.9 of EN 81-20:2020, as one of the means of fulfilling the requirements.
