In the absence of harmonized standards, what approach is to be followed for the approval of permanent joining procedures?

Answer

整合規格がない場合には、製造業者は既存の文書（整合化候補の規格案、業界文書、指針、認定第三者機関／ノーティファイドボディの文書、社内文書）を参照するか、又は特定の文書を作成しなければならない。

In the absence of harmonized standards, the manufacturer shall refer to an existing document (draft standard candidate for harmonization, professional document, guide, recognised third party/notified body document, company document) or shall establish a specific document.

そのような文書は、少なくとも次の事項を定めなければならない。

Such a document shall define at least:

- 恒久的接合の特性に影響しうる手順の必須変数

- essential variables for the procedure that may affect the properties of the permanent joining;

- 手順の資格認定のために行う検査及び試験

- inspection and testing to be carried out for the qualification of the procedure;

- 合否判定基準

- acceptance criteria;

- 有効範囲

- range of validity.

Note

指令は、「恒久的接合部の特性は、設計計算において他の関連する特性値が特に考慮されている場合を除き、接合される材料について規定された最低特性を満たさなければならない」と定めている。

The directive states that “the properties of permanent joints must meet the minimum properties specified for the materials to be joined unless other relevant property values are specifically taken into account in the design calculations”.
