§72 — Radio Equipment Directive

新たな無線機器指令2014/53/EU（RED）は、2016年6月13日から指令1999/5/EC（「R&TTE指令」）を置き換えた。

The new Radio Equipment Directive 2015/53/EU (RED) replaced Directive 1999/5/EC – the ‘R&TTE Directive’ - from 13 June 2016.

REDの適用範囲は、いくつかの例外を除き、無線機器に限定されている。その結果、LVDの電圧範囲内の有線通信端末機器はLVDの適用範囲に含まれることになる。

The RED scope is limited, subject to a number of exceptions, to radio equipment. As a consequence wired telecom terminal equipment within the LVD voltage range limits will fall within the LVD scope.

逆に、音声及びテレビの受信専用機器並びに9 kHz未満の周波数で動作する無線機器は、今後REDの適用範囲に含まれるため、LVDから除外される。

On the contrary, sound and TV receive-only equipment as well as radio equipment operating on frequencies below 9 kHz equipment will be excluded from the LVD, since now will fall within the scope of the RED.

2014/30/EU is given in document: ‘Date of applicability of the new LVD, EMCD and RED’.

REDは、第3条第1項において、EMC指令の必須要件、並びにLVDと同一の健康及び安全の側面に言及している。

The RED makes, in Article 3(1), reference to the essential requirements of the EMC Directive as well as the health and safety aspects identical to those of the LVD.

REDの適用範囲に含まれる無線機器は、LVDの対象とはならない。

Radio equipment falling within the scope of the RED shall not be subject to the LVD.
