2.2 — The economic operator referred to in Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1020

四種類の経済事業者が、適合について責任を負う経済事業者として行動することができる。

Four types of economic operator can act as the economic operator responsible for the compliance:

i) EU域内に設立された製造業者

i) a manufacturer established in the EU;

ii) 製造業者がEU域内に設立されていない場合には、輸入業者（定義上EU域内に設立されている。）

ii) an importer (by definition established in the EU), where the manufacturer is not established in the EU;

iii) 製造業者に代わって第4条第3項に定める業務を遂行するよう認定代理人を指定する製造業者の書面による委任を有する認定代理人（定義上EU域内に設立されている。）。又は

iii) an authorised representative (by definition established in the EU) who has a written mandate from the manufacturer designating the authorised representative to perform the tasks set out in Article 4(3) on behalf of the manufacturer; or

iv) EU域内に設立された製造業者、輸入業者又は認定代理人が存在しない場合には、連合域内に設立されたフルフィルメントサービス提供者

iv) a fulfilment service provider established in the Union where there is no manufacturer, importer or authorised representative established in the EU.
