4 — Requirements of Articles 3a, 4 and 5 of the RED

In addition to the essential requirements, the RED has specific requirements in its Articles 3a, 4 and 5.

Article 3a
この要件は、消費者その他のエンドユーザーに、一定の区分又はクラスの無線機器を充電デバイスなしで取得する可能性を与えるものである。
This requirement gives the possibility to consumers and other end-users to acquire certain categories or classes of radio equipment without a charging device.
また、経済事業者に対し、関連する情報（当該無線機器に充電デバイスが同梱されているか否か）をピクトグラムの形式で提供することを求めている。
It also requires economic operators to provide relevant information (whether or not a charging device is included with such radio equipment) in the form of pictogram.

この要件は、無線機器及び無線機器を動作させるソフトウェアの製造業者が、無線機器とソフトウェアの意図された組合せのREDの必須要件への適合に関する情報を提供する義務に関するものである。
This requirement is about the obligation of manufacturers of radio equipment and of software allowing radio equipment to provide information on the compliance of intended combinations of radio equipment and software with the RED essential requirements.
この要件は、関連する委任法令及び実施法令が採択された場合に、当該委任法令に定める無線機器の区分／クラスにのみ適用される。
It is applicable if related delegated and implementing acts are adopted and only to the categories/classes of radio equipment specified in such delegated act.
現在、そのような委任法令／実施法令はない。

この要件は、REDの必須要件への適合水準が低い無線機器の区分に属する無線機器の型式を中央システムに登録することに関するものである。
This requirement is about the registration of radio equipment types within categories of radio equipment affected by a low level of compliance with the RED essential requirements within a central system.
この要件は、関連する委任法令及び実施法令が採択された場合に、当該委任法令に定める無線機器の区分／クラスにのみ適用される。
It is applicable if related delegated and implementing acts are adopted and only to the categories/classes of radio equipment specified in such delegated act.
