1. この規則の目的は、高い水準の消費者保護を確保しつつ、域内市場の機能を改善することである。
1. The objective of this Regulation is to improve the functioning of the internal market while providing for a high level of consumer protection.
2. この規則は、上市され又は市場で提供される消費者製品の安全に関する基本的な規則を定める。
