Annex I — ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
1.4.1. 一般的な要件
1. General requirements
機器は、最新技術を考慮して、次のことを確保するよう設計され製造されなければならない。
Equipment shall be so designed and manufactured, having regard to the state of the art, as to ensure that:
(a)発生する電磁妨害が、無線及び電気通信機器その他の機器が意図したとおりに動作することができなくなる水準を超えないこと
(a)the electromagnetic disturbance generated does not exceed the level above which radio and telecommunications equipment or other equipment cannot operate as intended;
(b)その意図された使用において予想される電磁妨害に対して、その意図された使用の許容できない劣化なく動作することを可能にする水準のイミュニティを有すること
(b)it has a level of immunity to the electromagnetic disturbance to be expected in its intended use which allows it to operate without unacceptable degradation of its intended use.

構成部品の設置及び意図された使用
Installation and intended use of components
固定設備は、第1項に定める必須要件を満たす観点から、優良な工学的慣行を適用し、その構成部品の意図された使用に関する情報を尊重して設置されなければならない。
A fixed installation shall be installed applying good engineering practices and respecting the information on the intended use of its components, with a view to meeting the essential requirements set out in point 1.
